– faithfully enthusiast restored
Our early production 1951 Land Rover 80 was built by The Rover Co. LTD in Birmingham, England and has been faithfully restored over the course of a decade by a passionate Land Rover enthusiast. Great efforts were made during the restoration project to source new old stock parts and fittings. Nearly impossible items to find were tirelessly hunted down to finish this vehicle. From the original Clayton heater unit to the new radiator, it is clear this vehicle was restored by an individual, like the ones from Car Detailing Gold Coast, with both an eye for detail and a great appreciation for Land Rover and its history. This Land Rover 80 is equipped with rare trafficator turn signals, three place front seating, a mounted rear PTO and a Capstan winch. A hand crank is mounted in the rear tub and the truck comes with a new canvas top. The vehicle is finished in Bronze Green and is one of only 352 units Land Rover imported into the United States in 1951. This a terrific example of an early production Land Rover. Our Land Rover 80 is ready for your beach house, a mountain retreat or a spot in your collection.
