1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner,Serial Number 8319555, Regal Red with white vinyl, 232 cubic inch (3.8l) Studebaker V8 engine, 3-on-the-tree manual transmission, penned by the design studio of famed industrial designer, Raymond Loewy, and a statement car in automotive history, fitted with myriad captivating design elements, featuring its low elegant pillarless roofline and wrap around rear window, restored some years ago by Jack Lentz and his team at Lentz Auto Body of Belford, New Jersey, owned for many years by Churchill historian, Richard M. Langworth CBE, who also was a prolific American automotive writer and historian, and just coming to us out of our longtime designer client’s wonderful, and a bit eclectic collection.
