 1973 BMW E9 3.0 CS coupe, S/N 2250663, Polaris Silver metallic with blue leather, 3.0 litre in-line 6 cylinder engine uprated with triple Weber carburetors, 5 speed short shift manual transmission, air conditioning, disc barks at all 4 corners, 2+2 seating with rear bucket seats, power windows, Nardi wood steering wheel and shift knob, Alpina multi-spoke alloy wheels, iconic Karmann coachwork, comprehensive refurbishment some years ago by BMW specialist IMSA racer Ray Korman’s Korman Autoworks of Greensboro, North Carolina, fresh specialist servicing and sorting, and while there is no history file from the Korman refurbishment, the paint and the body show beautifully, the interior showing nicely throughout, and the drive is simply fantastic with engine power strong and making the most wonderful sound, and the short shift gearbox sharp in all gears.
