1955 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 open two seat roadster, Serial Number BN1-L/224055, Engine Number 1B224055, Body Number 7973, Spruce Green with black vinyl, 2.6 litre in-line 4 cylinder engine making 90hp, 4 speed manual gearbox with electronic overdrive, drum brakes, fold-down windscreen, wire wheels with knock-off hubs, Moto-Lita wood steering wheel fitted – original banjo steering wheel present, also accompanying are a soft top with side curtains, full tonneau cover, knock-off hammer, jack, owner’s manual, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate reporting that our 100/4 was completed at the factory in February 1955 in North American Export specification and that 224055 retains its original body, chassis and engine and is in its original Spruce Green color, restored some years ago and showing – and driving – wonderfully today, our very pretty 100/4 just coming to us from our longtime friend’s very sharp Northeast USA collection where it has been enjoyed by him this past decade and a half.
