1971 Mercedes Benz 280SE 3.5 cabriolet, S/N 11102712002977, DB350 Blue (non-metallic) with parchment leather, blue convertible top, an authentic 111 chassis cabriolet, 3.5 litre V8 engine making 200hp, 4 speed column shift automatic transmission, factory Behr air conditioning, Becker Mexico radio, factory power windows, beautifully cared for older cosmetic restoration by marque specialist Robert Platz’s Precision Autoworks, extensive history file dating back two decades including complete engine overhaul, recent comprehensive servicing and sorting by Jim Cosgrove’s Old Timer Restoration Center tallying nearly $30,000, complete with tool roll and jack, owner’s manuals, original convertible top wrenches, and our beloved coco mats, our 3.5 cabriolet in the Copley family since 2007, one of 801 USA examples and from the final year of 280SE 3.5 V8 production, on offer now in our suburban Boston showroom.
