1973 Volvo 1800ES two door station wagon, S/N 1836354005256, 42 White with bright blue, 2.0 fuel injected 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual gear box with electric overdrive, 4 wheel disc brakes, optional roof rack, air conditioning, alloy wheels, 2 + 2 seating, fold down rear seat for extended cargo space, fitted luggage – ha!, the 1800ES prototype originally penned years earlier by of all designers, Pietro Frua, this 1800ES having lived in the Pacific Northwest its entire life is rock solid top to bottom, largely original throughout, extensive servicing and sorting by a certain Sportscar magazine publisher during his ownership, as well as while in the most recent owner’s collection, the 1800ES Sweden’s homage to practicality melding a sportscar with a station wagon.
