1989 Mazda RX-7 GXL, S/N# JM1FC3316K0708991, Blaze Red with black leather. 13B Wankel Rotary, normally aspirated, rated at 162hp. 5 speed manual gearbox. Sold new on 8/31/1989 from Whitten Mazda in Richmond, VA. SURVIVOR! This Series 5 “FC” RX-7 is amazing as it has only 49,251 miles in its 30 years! A true survivor, our FC shows like a 3 year old car. Wonderfully shiny, crisp and sanitary throughout, it has certainly lived a pampered life…which not many of these cars did. 100% stock and unmodified, unheard of in the JDM tuner world! The original invoice shows it was ordered with optional leather trim (an $850 upcharge) and totaled $22,754. It comes to us from a local collector that acquired it a few years ago from our suburban Boston showroom. Serviced in 2016 by a local specialist (drive belts, clutch service and new plugs) and just professionally detailed by Doctor Detail. Books & car cover included.
