1971 Mercedes Benz 280SL roadster,Serial Number 11304412023256, DB387 Blue metallic with cognac leather, blue convertible top and blue factory removable hard top, 2.8 litre in-line 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, disc brakes at all four corners, Becker Europa radio, Frigiking air conditioning, ivory steering wheel and shift knob, European style headlights, proper front “notches” and spot welds, recent specialist restoration commissioned by longtime Copley friend and Mercedes collector, a very late 1971 having been built in January 1971 with the final 280SL built in February 1971, from the final year of 111 chassis roadster production and restored in the most smashing of colors.
