1968 Mercedes Benz 280SL roadster, S/N 11304412000546, 304 Horizon Blue with black MB Tex seat upholstery, blue convertible top and Horizon Blue hard top, 2.8 litre in-line 6 cylinder fuel injected engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, disc brakes, Becker Europa radio with Hirschmann electric antenna, delivered new June 29, 1968 via Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp. Mercedes Benz of Englewood, New Jersey, complete with owner’s manuals and pouch, original stamped service booklet, original metal service data plate, original Becker radio manual, and original factory data card, our stunning Horizon Blue roadster owned these past 30 years by legendary longtime Manolo Blahnik collaborators George Malkemus and Tony Yurgaitis, who commissioned some ten years ago an extensive photo documented refurbishment by noted marque specialist, Jim Cosgrove’s OldTimer Restoration Center, with the project including a bare metal repainting, interior re-trim and, major mechanical sorting, with OldTimer regular servicing since including Spring 2022, in its original colors with matching numbers original engine, our elegant 304 Horizon Blue 113 chassis roadster is simply wonderful in all respects.
