1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, Serial Number 6L67S6Q221841, Chesterfield Brown metallic with antique light buckskin leather, 500 cu in (8.2 litre!) fuel injected V8 engine, 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, power seats, climate control with air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with 8-track player, electric convertible top, Body by Fisher and built in Detroit, Michigan USA in February 1976 and delivered new February 27, 1976 by Simons Cadillac, Inc. of Dayton, Ohio, complete with original owner’s manuals and plastic pouch, original warranty card, original title copy, original dealer sales order and payment receipt and, a nice work order file dating back decades.
From the final year of Eldorado convertible production, our remarkable example was ordered new and presented as a 25th wedding anniversary gift by the better-half of the original owner, an avid classic car collector, IMSA and vintage race car driver, and most notably professionally a VW, Porsche and Audi distributor as well as multi-franchised dealer for same, staying with the original owner for 42 years until passing to his son in 2018 and now on offer in our suburban Boston showroom.
