1987 Land Rover Defender 110 soft top by Osprey, Arles Blue with grey twill vinyl seat upholstery, tastefully restored and updated by Osprey Custom of North Carolina, Chevrolet LS 3 V8 engine, automatic transmission, full time 4 wheel drive with high-low range, air conditioning, 8 passenger seating with 6 rear side facing seats with seat belts, fully removable soft top with windows and roll-up sides, front wing and lower panel diamond plating, full front brush guard with lamp guards, side steps, front skid plate, paint-to-match steel wheels, high intensity headlights, TuffyBox center console, starting the project with a 1987 Rest-of-World Defender 110, Osprey restores and upgrades all systems from the ground up, and while non-NAS Defenders are typically not “our thing,” and though fitted with the brawny Chevy LS3 engine, we like this 110 soft top a lot because so much of it remains true to the original, from the steel wheels, proper NAS Defender twill vinyl seats, an authentic front brush guard, and even an original first-gen Defender steering wheel, all makes for a very elegant and true Defender aesthetic.
